Shadow Puppetry and Music
Since 2013 I have collaborated with master shadow puppeteer Caroline Borderies and Chiaroscuro Puppets on original productions that combine live music and shadow puppetry. Our projects include The Toy-box, Sorcerer's Apprentice and Other Legends, Au fil d'eau, Two Persian Tales, The Nutcracker, Xieng-Mieng Tricks the King, Miao Girl Kiab and the Silver Needle, The Tale of the Radiant Princess, and A Hat Made of Stone.
“A spellbinding evening of shadow puppetry featuring the collaborative brilliance of renowned puppeteers Caroline and Suzanne Borderies, accomplished pianist Mirna Lekic, and captivating narrator David McCorkle.” – Long Island Press (full review here)
